EMBODIED CONNECTION RETREAT FOR GAY MEN

16–20 September 2026

Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain

Join us to cultivate connections, intimacy, and community designed specifically for gay men.

A few days to slow down, reconnect, and explore intimacy, embodiment, honesty, play, and connection in a warm, well-held group setting.

Small group · gay-focused ·

queer-inclusive · consent-led

ABOUT THE RETREAT

This retreat is a chance to step out of daily life for a few days and drop into a different rhythm — with more presence, more honesty, and more real connection.

Over the years, our retreats have grown into something deeper than just social time or workshops. They have become spaces for connection, laughter, body awareness, emotional openness, curiosity, and personal growth.

This is not a sex-focused retreat, and it is not about performance. It is a space for people who want to explore themselves and others in a more grounded, conscious way — through connection, movement, touch, breath, reflection, and shared experience.

Each group has its own dynamic, and the retreat takes shape through the people who come. We bring the structure, experience, and care. The rest unfolds from there.

WHO IS IT FOR?

IMG-20230626-WA0044_edited_edited_edited

This retreat is for people who want to:

  • feel more at easy with their body

  • explore intimacy and connection in a grounded way

  • practice clearer boundaries and consent

  • experience gay community and a sense of belonging

  • slow down and reconnect with themselves

  • feel playful, open, and more alive

The retreat is mainly created for gay men, while remaining open to queer, male-identifying, and non-binary participants who feel comfortable in a gay-centered space.

Singles, couples, and solo travellers are welcome.

WHAT THE RETREAT INCLUDES

Alongside the main focus on connection, intimacy, and shared experience, this retreat also includes a strong physical awareness component. Through therapeutic yoga, somatic practices, breathwork, and neuro-informed movement, you’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.

These practices are not the focus on their own — they support a deeper sense of presence, openness, and connection in the group. The approach is not about intensity, but about awareness, precision, and sustainable change — giving you tools to take with you beyond the retreat.

Across the days, we work with a mix of connection-based and body-based practices. The main focus of the retreat is connection — to yourself, to others, and to what feels real and present in the moment. Through partner exercises, group processes, reflection, and shared experiences, we explore intimacy, honesty, and human connection in a grounded and respectful way.

Body-based practices such as guided movement, therapeutic yoga, somatic work, breathwork, and neuro-informed approaches are used as supportive tools. They help regulate the nervous system, release tension, and deepen awareness — creating a more open and receptive state for connection.

We also integrate elements inspired by fascia work, functional movement, and body alignment principles that support ease, stability, and natural movement in the body. Some parts are playful. Some are grounding. Some open deeper conversations. Some are simply there to help you land, breathe, and feel more like yourself.

The exact flow may shift slightly depending on the group.

OUR APPROACH TO SAFETY & CONSENT

IMG_0531.jpeg

Safety and consent are a real part of how we run this retreat.

  • all activities are as invitations, you can always opt out

  • no nudity is required

  • no one is pushed into intimacy

  • consent comes first

  • resting is always allowed

  • boundaries are respected

  • honesty matters more than performance

We want this to feel like a space where gay men and aligned queer participants can relax, connect, and explore with more ease. For us, safety does not make things smaller — it makes deeper connection possible.

THE HOUSE & ATMOSPHERE

The retreat takes place at Maracuyá Gay House in Torremolinos, Málaga. The house itself is part of the experience. It is not just where people sleep — it is where the group gathers, lands, shares meals, rests, talks, and spends time together between sessions. We are keeping the group intentionally small so the overall feeling stays personal and comfortable

One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace. It gives us a beautiful outdoor space for relaxing, meeting, and for shared retreat moments. There is shade, space to sit together, and a jacuzzi, which adds to the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. The house has body-positive atmosphere where nudity can be part of everyday life. At the same time, the retreat itself is guided in a grounded and respectful way, with clear boundaries and a focus on safety, presence and personal comfort.

Alongside the time at the house, we also plan to include at least one shared outing to the beach to bring different energy into the retreat — more lightness, more movement, and a chance to connect in a more relaxed way.

Meals outside are also part of the experience. Sitting together in the open air, with good food and no rush, is part of what helps the retreat feel spacious and human.

LOCATION

The retreat takes place in Torremolinos, on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain.

Torremolinos is one of the best-known gay destinations in Southern Spain. It offers warm weather, beaches, a relaxed holiday atmosphere, and a lively local scene. For this retreat, it gives us a setting that combines ease, sunshine, and a sense of openness.

Maracuyá Gay House is close to both the beach and the centre of Torremolinos, so there is easy access to the sea, the town, and the local gay scene, while the retreat itself still keeps its own intimate feel.

Closest airport: Málaga (AGP), around 10 minutes away by train or taxi.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD

We are planning this retreat with comfort in mind.

Main House: 5 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a private bathroom
Extra Apartment: 2 bedrooms with double beds + 1 bedroom with 2 single beds

Depending on the mix of singles and couples, some participants may stay in the nearby apartment.

Planned group size: around 8–12 participants

Food is part of the retreat experience too. We will share warm, generous meals prepared with care by Daniele, who will bring his love of Italian cooking into the retreat.

The idea is simple: good food, shared in a beautiful setting, with enough quality and ease that people can relax and enjoy it.
